Dr. Hagan was the leading member of the California Bureau of Investigation’s Violent Crime Profiling Unit and she is a FBI-certified criminal profiler. She spent over 28 years in the field of law enforcement in a variety of assignments including probation, narcotics, investigations, fugitive apprehension, and violent crime scene analysis. She studied criminal investigative analysis and crime scene analysis in conjunction with the International Criminal Investigative Analysis Fellowship and the FBI’s National Center for the Analysis of Violent Crime.

Dr. Hagan has provided consultation, investigative assistance and training to law enforcement agencies and prosecutors throughout California and in numerous other states regarding homicides, sexual assaults, the sexual victimization of children, serial crime investigations and the assessment of violence potential.

Dr. Hagan studied and earned degrees at California State University, Sacramento, and Alliant International University. She is a licensed clinical psychologist in California.
